    Posted: 07 June 2007 at 5:21am
I have uploaded newspad to my server and can access it directly, and have also went throught the newspad configuration as well as WebWiz forum integration and was able to succesfully run the "test database connection" test. The question I have is, now that I have the WebWiz integration configured and was able to succesfully connect to my WebWiz db when I ran the test, shouldn't I see the newspad bulletins on the right side of my WibWiz fourm? Any help would be greatly appreciated on this.

I am currently connected to a access database.

Keep up the great work.

The integration at the present time doesn't work in that way, as present version 8 web wiz forums came out before the NewsPad software was ever conceived.

The integration allows you to send newsletters and news bulletins to your Web Wiz Forums members via email.

Is the long term goal to integrate the two tightly or should users start making their own mods? I could wait a bit for this functionality unless there is no plan to integrate them in which case I will start making my own mod now.

I integrated NewsPad and WW Forum successfully and sending Email to NewsPad Subscriber is Ok.
My problem is Forum members which they can not receive any email from NewsPad.
I sent some test news to Forum user group but none of them receive these news on their email.
please help me on this problem.

NewsPad only passes emails to the SMTP server you are using, from there it is up to the SMTP server to relay on emails. If emails are not being sent then have a look at your SMTP server.

I am currently connected to a access database

I have got the Forums and Newspad synced and all is working (I think)

I got the Forums Db imported into the news pad for members.

my question is, when a new member signs up for the forums it is not adding them to the Newspad Db

Do I have to import the forum DB list each time a new member signs up or am I missing something

You do not need to import Web Wiz Forums members in to NewsPad.

The integration between NewsPad and Web Wiz Forums means that NewsPad reads directly from the forums database to send newsletters to members who have subscribed through their forum profile.

When you go to send an eNewsletter it will give you the choice to send to Forum members.

If you have imported members in to NewsPad you should delete all these otehrwise they will get newsletter twice.
