I can not upgrade because version 8 does not have the Arabic language files, do you have any other recomendation for me other than upgrade?

Version 8 uses a different file upload method that doesn't use folders named after the user, to fix this problem upgrade to version 8.
Version 7.9 has some security issues so you should upgrade ASAP. |

I am using Web Wiz Forum 7.9 with Access and have several users that login with user IDs in non Latin letters. My forum is customized to accept Arabic letters. My problem is that people with user names in non Latin letters can not upload images to the upload directory. It seems that the upload function is unable to create the directory for their name in Arabic. I have verified that my hosting server accepts Arabic named directories and I also tried to create a directory manually inside the upload folder and it works fine. Please help me get this working. If you need more information please let me know. Thanks for your help in advance. |
