Hi Bruce

Thanks for your great help in the past.

Found a curious bug in the forum... Using Aspsmartupload everything works fine even the image resizing.

I have used persits in the past with no issues at all.

Suddenly it stopped working.

Changing to ASU did the trick even if persits is installed.

In what way has it stopped working? Do you get any error messages?

I get exactly this

500 - Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Even with error reporting turned on and showing the full error code, it displays nothing more than this.

If I change to AspSmartUpload then everything is fine. Persits doesnt work at all.

Try installing the latest version of Persists AspUpload on your server and see if that resolves the issue.

If it does not then to get a more detailed error message you need to change the ASP settings for your website in IIS so that error messages are sent to the browser and change the error handling for the website to detailed error messages.

If you have the website configured correctly in IIS for Classic ASP to send error messages to the browser as well as detailed error messages enabled you will get a fuller more detailed error message.

In addition to the changes you posted you also need to change the error handling to detailed error messages for the website in IIS.

Go to the website settings in IIS and click on 'Error Pages'. On the right hand side select 'Edit Features Settings' and then select 'Detailed errors'.
