Okay, I'm looking at the instructions and have completed 1 through 4 of the Installation instructions of SQL server version.  It says in 5. Create a database on the SQL Server.  This confuses me because it stops right there.  Am I supposed to just "KNOW" how to do this?

Secondly, am I trying to make it too difficult.  Are 6. and 7. telling me how to create the database?  I hope so.  HELP.  TIA, Bruce

Ypu havn't mentioned if you are using a web host or you are installing this on your own server.

If you are using a web host they will need to create an SQL Server database for you and given you the login details to your database.

If you are installing it on your own system, you need to have installed the SQL Server software, you then need to use a program like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to connect to the SQL Server where you need to create a blank database on the SQL Server and setup the SQL Server login you are using to connect to the SQL Server as the DBO (Database Owner) on the database you have just created.

For a more detailed information on how to use/setup SQL Server have a search on Google. SQL Server can be quite a complex database system with many books on it having 1,000's pages.
