I can't get the upload function to overwrite files.

I changed blnOverWriteFiles to true.

When the file doesn't exist, it loads OK, for example, SNotes.txt.

When it does exist, it loads with a suffix of 1, for example, SNotes1.txt.

This occurs when using IE 6 or Firefox 1.5.0.1.

I'm using RTE version 3.0.

How do I solve this, please ?

This sounds like this is done by the upload component you are using, but you didn't mention which one.

Try a different upload component as some don't allow over writing of files.
