Hi. I found that the forum shows up topics written in hidden forums when searching, even when not logged in.

I.e. We have a internal forum which just a few members have access to. In this forum we are sometimes discussing cases which preferrably not should be published before a certain date. But when searching for phrases only written in this forum, it shows up in the search result! I have checked this from several PC'es, and I am shure I am not logged in.

How can I solve this? It seams not to be any settings for this in the admin area. If possible, logged in members should be able to see the search results within their permission settings.

I can confirm this behaviour also. We have an internal forum where we create FAQ/Knowledgebase type articles that are published at a later date. I have had a couple of questions from people that can see a search result but cannot open it. (since it is in a forum for which they do not have access)

Sounds like you have only password protected these forums.

If you want to make the forums totally secure so that they do not come up in search results you need to use the permissions system and only grant those groups or users access to these forums that you wish to be allowed in them. This will prevent the problem you mention.
