Hey guys

I'm wondering how people are handling their ads on their site.

Currently, I'm hoping to use a javascript which will allow me to have 4-5 images on my site, and rotate ads on each image. I found an easy script that will do this, the problem is that images rotate, and sometimes I see duplicates on the page.

Anybody have any thoughts?

Is it possible to add a link to one of my forums (I have a forum set up that is just weblinks) that opens up the private message center and automatically puts the administrators username in the TO field. Kind of like the mailto: used on website links but I don't want it to open the users email program but instead use my forum's message center.
 
The idea is that if a member has a question, they can click the link and quickly write their message.
 
In a large forum, getting messages from a lot of members wouldn't be feasible but our forum is for a small membership and I want people to have quick access to HELP.

Facebook has a Twitter-like feature where you can update your "status" - a single line format [whatever type].

Now you can export your Facebook status as an RSS feed, which means you can add to your site choice.

The hard part is finding your personal situation "to eat". Go to your Facebook profile and look for the "Mini-Feed" box. Click "View All" link. In the right lane of the results page is a list of links, one of them is "status stories." That is what you want. Click on it.

Now you have a page called "My Mini-Feed", which is limited to their own status updates. Look in the right lane of an RSS icon and a label, "Subscribe to these stories." Not your RSS link.

Take the URL and add to the Aggregator on your website. Set the update time in the lowest possible value (15 minutes) and make cron at least as often.

At present, the module adds a block to produce the food. You can put that block in any region. Voila: Your Facebook status is now reflected in your website.

Site maps provide a dual purpose: They provide search engine spiders easy access to all of your site pages and they provide site visitors easy access to all of your site pages. The difference is that search engines and visitors access your site map differently and therefore there are different methods that need to be applied to creating site map(s) that are friendly for both engines and search spiders. Small sites typically don't need a site map so long as all pages are linked in the main navigation. I think you are talking about the HTML site map for users.
